Originating from the South African Boer Goat, bred in South Africa in the early 1900s for meat production, British Boer goats are distinctive with their white bodies and red heads. They are noted for being docile, fast growing and having high fertility rates. Our stud bucks, Elija and Rioja are pedigree British Boers and our does are a mixture of pedigree boer, boer-dairy & boer-cashmere crosses.. This combination gives rise to great milk for the kids and the ability to winter well in the Speyside climate.
